Logo design is a paradox. They must be modern and timeless; fashionable and trend setting; loud and discrete. They must do these things across a wide range of media types - business stationery, vehicle graphics, motion video and the world wide web.
All of these requirements add complexity and yet it’s the simplest logotypes we admire the most. Such simplicity does not however reduce the design process to a casual exercise.
